About this makeup: This Fun World makeup is manufactured from ingredients generally recognized as safe for use in cosmetics. However, as with any cosmetic, some individuals may experience an allergic reaction. A patch test is recommended. Apply a spot of product to the inside elbow or wrist. Leave for 30-60 minutes. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use. Step-by-step instructions: Before you begin: Read all instructions carefully and completely. Helpful hints: place all materials onto a flat comfortable work area in front of a well-lit mirror. Before applying makeup, slip on any part of the costume that requires stretching over the head. Follow the picture on the front of the card or use your imagination. Applying the makeup: apply a thin, smooth layer of cream foundation makeup to the face. Applying eyelashes: Lashes are held onto eyelashes with a small amount of temporary adhesive. To remove lashes, gently lift the lash band off the tray. note – never use a sharp or pointed device near the eyes. Before using adhesive, practice applying lashes. 1. In front of a well-lit mirror, tip the chin upward so that the eyes are half closed. Always look at your eyes, not the lash. Practice fitting the lash to your eye. Starting from the inner corner of your eye, hold the lash in place with one hand. With the other hand gently drape the lash along the natural root line of your own lashes. Check the fit. if the lash is too wide, trim away a small amount. Trim only a tiny bit at a time. 2. Applying eyelash adhesive. Open eyelash adhesive tube. dip the non-bristle end of a brush into the adhesive. Hold the lash by the hairs and slowly draw a line of the adhesive onto the lash band. Make sure the entire lash band has adhesive. 3. Apply to lash in the same manner as the practice application. Starting from the inner corner of your eye, hold the lash in place with one hand. With the other hand, gently drape the lash along the natural root line of your own lashes. Press gently especially at the corners, until the adhesive dries, about 1 minute. 4. Once dry, use the side of the index finger to lightly fluff eyelashes. 5. Removing eyelashes. pinch the outer eyelash hairs firmly. From the outer corner to the inner corner, slowly and gently pull the eyelash away from the lid. Gently peel off any remaining adhesive. store eyelashes on the tray for reuse. Makeup Stencil: (for applying Pirate’s Patch design using makeup) A stencil for the Pirates’ patch portion of the makeup is included. you may find this helpful in creating your character. Use a picture on the front of the card to help determine the correct position for the Pirate patch makeup design. (1) peel the stencil off from the backing sheet. (2) press all areas of the stencil gently but firmly against your skin. Make sure that all stencil (cut-out) areas are secured flush against your skin. (3) Using the picture on the front of the card as a guide, apply the black outline for the pirate patch. (4) Without using the stencil, fill in the pirate patch with purple makeup. (5) Replace the stencil onto your skin, matching up the black line areas. Using a clean brush or sponge, color in the blue dots towards the bottom of the pirate patch. Touch up any areas where the stencil may have removed too much makeup. Other Makeup tips: Create the black string for the patch first, then fill in the blue swirl as shown in the picture. After that, use pink towards your upper cheekbone as shown. Hair Extension: Hold the top/clip portion of the extension. Facing the pronged side of the extension towards your head, gently slide the extension into your natural hair. The hair in this piece can be straightened if desired, with the use of a curling iron. Gently pull on the hair as you run the curling iron along the length of the hair. Removal: wash completely with soap and water.

Caution: Do not use hot pink makeup in or around the eye areas. do not use pink or red makeup in or around the eye areas. Do not use purple, pink, or blue makeup around the mouth area. Take care! makeup may permanently stain fabrics and carpeting. Use with care.
