The spectator is asked to merely think of one of the four kings. There is no force of cards.
As the spectator thinks of the card, the magician removes a pay envelope from his pocket. Inside the envelope, the magician, are four cards. Once looks different from the other three.
The difference is this: The card thought of by the spectator is reversed. It also has a different color back than the other three cards. A miracle!
