Pecos Valley Diamonds in Gypsum Matrix. Quartz crystals naturally occur in the Gypsum matrix, found in the fields outside of Roswell, New Mexico. Part of my childhood rock collection in the ’60s. Measures approximately 2.5″ x 2″ x 1.5″. Weighs 4.9 ounces.
