German Chamomile Flowers, whole – 1 oz. Matricaria recutita. Originally from Croatia. Frontier Herb Cooperative. Chamomile has two common varieties: the Roman and the German, both common in Europe. It is commonly used in teas and for folklore based herbal medicine. Folk belief believes it is good for relieving mouth pain, promoting gastrointestinal health such as helping with diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, acid reflux, nauseau and vomiting; wound healing; and inducing sleep as a mild sedative.
