Mullein (Verbascum thapsus)- cut and sifted, 1 ounce. Throughout folklore, Mullein has been used for healing for thousands of years and is found in most of the world hosting over 200 species. Leaves are harvested towards the base of the plant, dried or used fresh. Oil is extracted from the flowers and leaves to remedy earaches, eczema, ear infections, a topical anesthetic, and skin ailments. The flowers and leaves have been used for asthma relief, bronchitis, coughs, congestion, constipation, migraines, pain, gout, inflammation, sleep disorders, tuberculosis, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and anti-tumor properties. It is said to also be an antioxidant and antiviral particularly against influenza A and herpes. Some believe it is effective against Klebsiella pneumoniae, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus. Comes in plastic bag per ounce, not the display container shown in photos.
